EuroShop 2014 Update: Day 2 Video and Photos

February 17th, 2014 7 COMMENTS

The EuroShop 2014 adventure continues with Mel and Katina. On Day 2, they visit the smaller tradeshow exhibition hall with the mostly 3 x 3 and 3 x 6 meter booths, and then turn their attention to mannequins, retail fixtures, supermarket displays, refrigeration, and all things esoteric to retail merchandising and marketing.

Be sure to see the photo describing the lightbox that even the “ladies” can assemble and a photo of Katina with Mary Poppins. We half expected to see Ron Burgundy in the “Ladies Lightbox” space.

EuroShop 2014 Update: Day 1 Video and Photos

February 16th, 2014 2 COMMENTS

Once every three years, it’s EuroShop time in Dusseldorf, Germany. Mel White and Katina Rigall are attending for Classic Exhibits and ClassicMODUL. And, despite their jet lag (or because of it), they have time to share their impressions of a very full first day. Expect another update over the coming days.

Re-Designed Classic Exhibits Website

February 12th, 2014 COMMENTS

So new, it still has that glorious new website smell — new graphics, new HTML, a flashy menu, and intuitive navigation. We invite you to tour the re-designed Classic Exhibits website. All your favorites are there:  Past 5 Days, Exhibit Design Search, Peek-a-Booth, Trade Show Tips, and FAQ’s. Plus, we highlighted some additional features, such as:

The product pages have expanded with larger graphics and convenient information bubbles. There’s a video for most products and a browse button that takes you directly to the appropriate gallery in Exhibit Design Search.

Product page examples:

Even Exhibit Design Search has a new look and feel with larger thumbnails, an Advanced Search feature, and an improved graphical menu. At a glance, we hope you’ll agree with us that it’s beautiful, functional, and easy-to-use.

  • My Gallery (everyone’s favorite EDS tool)
  • Top 20
  • Exhibit Specials
  • Lightning Deals
  • Quick Ship Displays
  • Trade Show Tips
  • And . . . Distributor Locator

We would love to hear from you. What you like and what you don’t like. Or share enhancements you would like to see. Let us know either by giving us a call or sending us an email.

Oh yes, a big pat on the back to Tony Bennett and Glenna Martin. Without their hard work and their vision, it never would have happened. You’re the best!!

Classic Exhibits and OTM Partner on NEO Portable Brandable Furniture

February 10th, 2014 COMMENTS
NEO Portable Brandable Furniture

NEO Portable Brandable Furniture

Classic Exhibits and On The Move (OTM) introduce the NEO line of portable furniture. NEO is a line of portable, brandable furniture specifically designed for the trade show and event industry. Unlike traditional furniture options, the NEO line is modular, lightweight, and designed to pack efficiently for storage and transport. Its intuitive design allows it to be assembled in minutes without tools.

According to Tom Werner, President of OTM, “As an exhibit designer for over 25 years, I’ve always found good furniture rental solutions to be a challenge. For the exhibitor, renting can be expensive, owning and shipping traditional furniture is impractical, and while folding and stacking options are efficient, they lack esthetic appeal.”

Rental furniture is pricy and very often shows wear from transportation and use. Purchasing and shipping traditional home/office furniture components is inefficient. With no way to fold, stack, or nest together, they require large shipping containers to store and are prone to damage in transport.

Folding and stacking furniture, while efficient for transport and storage, lacks aesthetic appeal. In addition, most of these options are for a lower chair height. The best seating solutions allow someone seated to stay at the same eye-level as someone standing. Lastly, none of these allow a simple, cost-effective way to personalize, stylize, or brand like most other elements in the exhibit space.

“As a long-time customer of Classic Exhibits,” according to Tom, “I know their commitment to quality and on-time delivery. Classic Exhibits was the clear choice as a partner for the manufacturing of this product. We are excited to be working with them.”

The OTM NEO line is available through the Classic Exhibits Distributor Network or by contacting On The Move, Inc. See the NEO line at EXHIBITOR2014 in the Classic Exhibits booth or review on the New Product Showcase page of the EXHIBITOR website. Please take a moment to Download the brochure.

February 7th, 2014 COMMENTS

Kevin Carty, VP Classic Exhibits

EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Awards Night Gala

Get excited!!!!!

We have an Awards Night for the first time, complete with networking, dinner, and drinks. It is sanctioned by EXHIBITOR and promises to be quite the gala based on the many conversations I’ve had with the EXHIBITOR team.

Classic Exhibits is VERY PROUD to be a sponsor for this inaugural event. We have several exhibits in the running for awards, along with many Classic distributors and their clients.

Awards include:

  • Exhibit Design Awards
  • Portable/Modular Awards featuring The Zeigler Award
  • Buyers Choice Awards
  • Best of Show EXHIBITOR2014
  • EXHIBITOR Legends H-O-F Inductee
  • Corporate Event Awards
  • All-Star Awards
  • Sizzle Awards

As mentioned before, your ticket to the event includes dinner and drinks, as well as an opportunity to network with colleagues and attendees. What a great evening to bring your clients to celebrate trade shows and the Best of the Best.

I applaud the management team at EXHIBITOR Media Group for embracing and organizing this event to celebrate the beauty, the art, and sheer creativity of what we do as an industry. And I am very excited to see what Justin Hersch and his event production team from Delphi Productions have in store for all the attendees.

For tickets, please follow this link. We will be in attendance and look forward to spending the evening with you.
